A HIGH LIFE.

i am in the computer lab now. this is boring...... sigh and fang is too busy to entertain me.
so fine, i shall entertain myself by typing this entry.
ssa bbq was a success! spent the 2 days before the bbq preparing food, so it was really tiring. had to fry fried rice like 5 times!!!
in the end, all went well...
ok fang is free now. so gtg!

BACK in adelaide!!
ok i've been back for a number of days already. (since the 21st to be exact..) just that i've been soooo busy settling in and doing stuff for the singapore association that i have no time to sit at my computer desk and update my blog.
finally i have time.
this year, its much easier adapting to life here in adelaide. i have so much more freedom! but i also miss my family lots... miss following my parents to play golf, and going for family dinners etc. esp my grandma and grandpa, who dote on me like crazy. i love you all:)
oh and i got back my exam papers and i'm extremely satisfied with my results! the only thing that i was unhappy about was the dreaded fourth question. but that is only onee question, so i'm very thankful for the results:)
life is definitely going to be better...

i've realised that i can even forget what i ate yesterday. oh no! my memory is failing me. haiz.
this shows that i've been just soo busy. can't keep track of what i've been doing. but i shall try, just for the sake of updating my blog. shall go backwards order to make it easier.
yesterday had a mini class gathering. only 5 people turned up at the end, but what's new, that's always the case. everybody always cannot make it.. so anyway me, ade, zhiliang, tsin and may met up at minds cafe near dhoby ghaut. the special thing abt that place was that it has many board games which you can play! so we played! learnt some new games which i never heard about! so it was fun!
thurs went for ssa meeting, then karoke at a 10 dollar club in chinatown. sooo we sang and sang!
haha! i'll say this again! i loveee singing! and i think i'm getting better at reading the chinese! (but i still sang wrongly a few times.) there was shark fin soup too! haha but i didn't really like it. (think of the poor sharks man!)
wed was a tiring day. went to play golf in the afternoon with mummy. using a buggy! so it wasn't tat tiring, but it certainly was HOT! after that fetched fang from his house, dropped mummy at orchard before going to nus to watch leech's cheerleading!! wahh wish there was dance in adelaide lor. i'm sooooo out of practice. hope i can still split now!! ok so after that went to eat dinner at upper bukit timah hawker centre. had my fav carrot cake, char kuey tiao and satay beehoon! yummmmy.
tues played golf in the morning with mummy's friends. so happy my golf was much better today!! think its the golf clubs man.. then went for a combined ssa and smsua meeting and after that went out with fang. one of the most interesting dates thus far. went to holland v to eat xo fish soup, which was delicious! then we decided to go ikea! (since we were in the area) then went to eat dessert at haagen daaz. had some triple chocolate ice-cream dish which was so chocolateyyy. hahaha:) went home pretty late that night. haha.. broke our record already! :)

it has been a busy week.
sat was my chinese new year open house. spent fri night and sat cleaning up the house and helping with the preparation of the food. yes, i helped peel and cut onions, peeled eggs and prawns to be more exact. my mum and grandma cooked mee sian, kueh pi ti and porridge, which were all very very nice! plus we bought satay. but that's not all! caterer came and we had another lot of food! (noodles, curry chicken, prawns and vegetables, samosa) soo there was really TOO MUCH food. i just ate a little bit of here and there coz most of the time was spent entertaining relatives, playing mahjong and blackjack. so was pretty busy the whole night. think this cny my luck in blackjack is down, lost like 4 bucks in total. (it might not seem like a lot, but when you are playing only 20 cents to 50 cents a game, that's quite a lot. oh well, didn't play too much this year either coz i decided to play mahjong instead! BUT, i still lost about 4 bucks. but grandma managed to win back the money for me! haha. okkk so anw collected lots of angpaos and had lots of fun!
sunday was sooo tired so i dragged myself out of bed to go to church. after that came home and rested coz i was sooo tired. only managed to rest for a few hours before my father asked me to go play golf at the range, so i went, to realise that i left one side of my glove at home, but i played anyway. my golf still ain't good enough.. haiz. then proceeded to bukit to collect my ah ma's cake, then back home to collect the rest of my family and food before going to my ah ma's house to celebrate her 86th birthday!! sooo again more food and fun! haha:) happy birthday dear ah ma!
today went out with my best friend daniel. went to eat breeks, and the pasta was not too bad, better than the one i had at bugis. plus there was a 1 for 1 offer, so the price was not too bad too! okkk so we went to watch I Not Stupid Too! it was a good movie! very singaporean theme on school life and all. kinda lame and anticlimax at times though, but there were really sad and touching moments too. went to esplanade and the merlion and acted like tourists (coz we kept taking photos). and we both got what we wanted to get! -grins- so yup fantastic day! :)
