A HIGH LIFE.

my head hurts. my stomach (or should i say abdomen) is pain. and i'm so tired now. think i should just go to sleep. which i shall do. after i type this post.
TGIW! thank God its Wednesday! which means that the next day is Thurs. which is the only day that there's no medical classes! so i can get to rest, which i need badly. i've been deprived of sleep these few days. not used to waking up early at all. (hello i used to wake up at earliest 1030am during the hols) so its gonna take a while to get back into the school groove again. oh wellz. its always like this anyway.
now i'm addicted to reflexive games. the games are just so cute and fun!! and i'm addicted to poker too! coz ever since my housemates came back from the gold coast, they brought back this texas poker set, and we've been playing it pretty often... i LIKE poker. think i have the luck for poker!! haha!
ok enough of my crapping for today! i'm BEAT...
off to have a good rest now.

Let me start this post with a funny quote i heard during dinner.

haha. ok that's pretty out of point.
anw some highlights of my mid sem break
i went to sing sing TWICE!!! and both times i had the crispy chicken mee pok!!! with lots and lots of vinegar. haha. SOUR is gooood...:)
played mahjong once at Mackinnon Pde with eugene and keith. played a few rounds of mahjong, but then we were all distracted with the tv. so many nice programs on. first there was skating with celebrities (ice-skating version of dancing with the stars) then the passion of christ. so we watched tv instead. and the movie was so touching...
and i finally went to gauchos in chinatown. its an argentine restaurant and the food was really nice and it was a LOT!!! i had the lamb, fang had the porter house steak and we shared mussels for appetizer. fang couldn't finish his steak, even with my help! think i ate about 1/6 of the steak for him. haha but it was seriously too much. my stomach was bursting by the time we finished. luckily there was a car.
on a side note: i think half the restaurant was Asian people. head count of people who went that night: me, fang, yvonne, leon, angie, david, hans, ian, venita, victor and daphne! ok the first 7 were planned. but we met the other 4 coincidentally. interesting huh?
went to barossa for the second time with the singapore association! drank lots of wine and bought ONE bottle for fang. had this tour at chateau barossa. thought it would be a tour of the vineyards and the wine-making process like the last time. but no, it was a tour of a museum with lots of antiques. so that was interesting.
watched 3.5 movies on DVD! namely In Her Shoes, In The Blue, 2 Fast 2 Furious and half of The Terminal. yuppp the shows were ok, nothing great actually. the selection of DVDs at blockbuster wasn't that great to start with. or most of the better shows i've already watched.
celebrated jamie's birthday! it was held at a jap restaurant in chinatown. yup everything was fun. we were talking rubbish as usual. haha. so happy she liked the present and cake that i chose:) glad you enjoyed yourself girl!!!
went to play paintball!! now i know what guys do in army and seriously it was very very tiring. the first 2 games were attack/defend the fort. and both times the attack team won. in the second game, i was defending the fort, and i got hit by one attacker THREE times! two on my thigh and onces on my head. he was literally firing at me! so i "died" and quickly ran out. getting hit was certainly pretty painful man. the next day, i had 2 bruises where i got hit. oh wellz, but it was worth the fun. towards the last few games, it started raining, and hence i got drenched. so we all ended up pretty wet. amazingly i only managed to use 100 ammo for the entire 6 or 7 games that we played. (most people used like 300-400) haha! i made sure i conserved my bullets. yup so that was PAINTBALL.
went for clinical skills day organised by SMSUA. but no, i didn't attend the workshop. i was just there for fun. wanted to just sit in one corner and read my notes while waiting for dearie. but then, being the ever-so-enthusiastic girl that i am, ended up talking to the helpers in the "lunch room" and learning to suture.
last life group with mark-kor. yup went for life group as usual. but this one was extra special because our dear life group leader, mark, was leaving to work in Singapore in may. so thankfully i would STILL get to see him back in Singapore when i go back!
What i wanted to do BUT didn't do
Go to Glenelg toeat fish and chips and enjoy the sunset.
Go to Marion and/or Harbour Town and/or Tea Tree to shop. haha what's new.
Go for an Easter egg hunt.
Cook a proper meal for myself. (which does not mean maggie mee!)
Revise term 1 work.
